Biography

Liu Zhifei: Works in the Department of Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery, Peking Union Medical College Hospital. He is an Associate Professor, Associate Chief Physician, and Master's Degree Supervisor, and a Committee Member of the Academic Group of the Medical Aesthetics and Cosmetology Branch of the Chinese Medical Association. He specializes in the application of tissue expanders in plastic and aesthetic surgery and has conducted original research on the use of microdermabrasion and lasers in minimally invasive aesthetic surgery. He has led and repeatedly participated in multiple research projects funded by the Ministry of Health and institutional research funds.

He has published more than 20 articles in China and abroad and served as editor-in-chief of two volumes of the "Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery 100 Questions" series.

He specializes in common aesthetic procedures of the face and neck, such as double eyelid surgery, lower eyelid bag excision, rhinoplasty, chin augmentation, and wrinkle removal; reconstructive treatment of large scars caused by various traumas or burns; correction of congenital deformities of the ear, nose, lip, and other areas; common breast aesthetic surgeries such as breast augmentation, reduction mammaplasty, and correction of gynecomastia; aesthetic procedures of the trunk and limbs (e.g., liposuction); and plastic and aesthetic surgery of the male external genitalia.
